We have stayed at this hotel several times. Staff are always courteous and efficient, and we really enjoy sitting on the balcony in the evening, overlooking the old port area. We particularly like the location near Yokohama's historic red brick warehouse area, Yamashita Park and Yokohama's Chinatown neighborhood - tons of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Lots of shopping options nearby as well. Moreover, historic Kamakura also is only a short train ride away, as is central Tokyo. Best of all for travelers, the hotel enjoys easy access either by train and subway or by bus to and from Haneda Airport.

While "dislike" is too strong a word, the hotel rooms and common areas on lower floors are showing their age a bit. I believe higher floors have been refurbished to target the premium travel market, and I hope management will take some steps in the next few years to update carpets and furniture.
