Good room, spacious and a great view of the Danube. Bar and bistro and the breakfast was excellent

Some minor plumbing issues in the bathroom, but these were fixed quickly by staff

Zimmer mit Donaublick gebucht und zuerst nicht bekommen. Nach eine Diskussion bekamen wir ein nicht renoviertes Zimmer auf der ersten Etage( laut) und kein optimalen Blick.

This is a mediocre Hotel that just happens to have a great view on one side. Be very careful if the weather is warm because they’re air-conditioning is hit or miss. Many people are complaining because they had no air-conditioning. It was above 30/85. Having said that if you stay on the riverside, you have an extraordinary view. It’s pretty obvious they don’t need to or choose not to invest in upkeep and renovation as the view keeps the place going and the prices are pretty reasonable. Apparently the breakfast is not very good but the good news is there is an abundance of cafés in the area and restaurants. At night you have to walk across the street and take in the amazing view. Somewhere I saw it as a four star. It’s clearly not. And if you’re not on the river side it’s like a 2.5.

We had a bedroom suit immediately overlooking the Danube and parliament buildings. The room had floor to ceiling opening windows that allowed the fresh air in as if sitting on a balcony. The furnishings appeared dated although functional.

possibly slightly more modern furniture. Being a non-smoker the designated smoking area was immediately to the left of the hotel entrance.
