Arrival - clear communication with the host, Miguel (the owner's son) met us on the agreed time, gave the keys and explained everything about the apartment (we had the loft). He explained about the town, recommended restaurants, hikes in the area, and was extremely helpful throughout the stay. Parking - we had parking (not all apartments get free parking). It was very convenient for us to have parking in the apartment. Location - great location in Puigcerdà, 2 minutes walk from the town center with all the restaurants, supermarket, etc. From Puigcerdà it's very easy to do hikes in the French side or the Spanish side, with some really amazing hikes (lakes, mountains) less than 45 minutes drive aways. The apartment is right on this cute artificial lake with swans and ducks, where you can walk around and enjoy the beauty of the town and nature. From the apartment to BCN airport was 2 hours, and roughly similar from Costa Brava area. Apartment - the loft is amazing, and it's easy to see how much attention was put on all the small details. 4 twin beds and 1 king, all share a sort of open-space. Huge windows overlooking amazing views - the lake on one side and mountains on the other. Opening the blinds in the morning is the most amazing way to start your day (we were there in July). The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen (appliances, dishwasher, even a washing machine), 2 bathrooms with all the fancy toiletries (a bit small and short because of the beautiful roof, but just watch your head). You get the apartment cleaned and organized daily, which is amazing - like a nice hotel, you get back to the room and it's sparking clean, all new towels, beds arranges, including all the mess the kids leave in the morning. Building - beautiful landscape with flowers and grass, elevator, quiet - we never heard anyone (although it was full). Overall, it was a wonderful 4-day summer visit, and it really made us want to stay longer in the area. It's beautiful!

The Air-Conditioner is not powerful enough for this size of the apartment. On hot days it can hardly help
