Best Western Port Huron Blue Water Bridge

You were supposed to check in at 3 o’clock and the room was not ready. The gentleman behind the desk had to go clean it so we had to sit there and wait and then I got a spa bath room and it had no plug in it. So once again, I called the front desk and he shoved a washcloth in it so we couldn’t use it even though I paid extra for it.

Checked in the room and we did not stay due to foul stench . No refund as we booked through Expedia.

When entering the hotel,they almost canceled our reservation due to us being locals.The pool had peeling paint. If you have a latex allergy, you will break out in hives at the pool. The jet tub was filthy when ran with soap and water. Also,the pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. When eating breakfast, the potatoes we not done all the way. Everything else was great.

Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience at this Best Western. First, I was surprised that the pet fee increased to $40. Many other hotels charge less. Second, the hotel experienced some sort of disaster that wasn’t mentioned, but there were fans everywhere and the ac was turned off in all common areas. Last, the breakfast was missing bowls, napkins, and fresh fruit. We pass through Port Huron every year, but we will look to stay somewhere else next time.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and they appeared to enjoy being there. The establishment was also kept very clean and inviting. My stay was very enjoyable.

Found prescription medication in our coffee basket. With a quick Google search, it was identified as viagra. Took pictures and brought it to the front desk when we were checking out and it didn’t seem like a big deal to her.

Not the cleanest! Trash in the stairwell, pool room very dirty, smelled of old socks and wet towels, receptionist was having a full blown singing session in breakfast area when we were checking out and seemed more concerned about her ability toto speck multiple languages then anything else!

Property was extremely dirty sheets were covered in green sticky goo and the fire alarm system was faulty causing the fire sprinkler system to go off and with improper draining the water was leaking from the floor above into the ceilings and electric system and breaker boxes are in the hallway accessible to guests with broken locks
