Red Roof Inn Lubbock

When i arrived i got into my room, i noticed that there was red stains on my comforter and when i yold them about it they said that was dye with the flowers on the comforter but the stains looked more like blood. I was excited they had a hot tub, but it did not work.

Nothing!!

It was filthy!!

No breakfast AT ALL. POOL was closed broken pump. Your Red Roof Inn was the most disappointing hotel we have stayed in in many years of traveling. It was the worst kept; dirty, with trash laying around the building's exterior; besides dirty & poorly kept interior as well: Bathroom fixtures in our room needed repair - ex: the faucet sink handle did not turn on water well. It was stiff and did not turn water on to full stream. Linens on our bed had burn holes in them - which looked like cigarette burns, even though we requested a non-smoking room. The bed was very uncomfortable and should be replaced immediately as it was like sleeping on a hill the mattress was so worn out. Everything needed repainting everywhere. The refrigerator did not work well either; it was not cold enough. The whole facility was definitely not up to the Red Roof Inn standards we have experienced in the other places. In other words, the place was a dump in comparison to other experiences we have had traveling! I would not recommend this Red Roof Inn location at all!

The whole reason I chose this property over other similar ones in the area was because of the pool/hot tub as it was advertised on the website but when we arrived it was closed due to the pump having gone out. The carpet in the hallway to the room was dingy and littered with trash. The bedding was stained and we had to go to front desk to get clean replacements. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. I could feel the springs cutting into me. The bathroom smelled like sewage, the ceiling tiles were broken and trim was rusted, and the sink “tile” was being held together by packaging tape. Also every time I left the room and tried to get back in the key wouldn’t work and I had to return to the front desk and have it reprogrammed. Even knowing all the issues, and having charged an additional $50 deposit (even though the room had already been paid for in full at the time of booking) the front desk staff’s only suggestion was that we could leave and go somewhere else and they would probably give us a refund but it would take several days. Only positive things I can say is that the A/C cooled great and the TV worked.

It was the worst stay ever

It smelled of weed , to complain and was told “It always does “! We had to climb two flights of stairs because the elevator was broke and had been for months , we had to change rooms because the AC was broken !!

I like the price and then it was convenient

TV didn't work the internet didn't work

It was friendly and clean

There is no breakfast but it says there is online when I booked
