"Good but bad reception"

Beautiful setting in the mountains! Rooms were spacious and clean. Restaurant was open and food was good, service excellent. Unfortunately the reception we received when we checked in or asked a question was terrible and not pleasant at all. Sad because first impressions make a huge difference!

No restaurant until Wednesday. Then only after 4pm. Dishes are 1970s. Only coffee in the mornings.

Overall the Trickle Creek Lodge was an awesome experience. I could not fault them on anything, the room was excellent, the views fantastic, and the location was quiet and beautiful.

I liked the facility but the pool wasn't open when we arrived and there wasn't a note when we booked that the pool was closed. There is only one restaurant that is open in the evenings and we didn't care for the food.

So disappointed to show up and the pool was closed. Main reason you pick hotels for summer vacation to have a pool. Only one of the two hot tubs had water. The hot tub that was open. The jets didn’t even work. The room was clean, but out of date. Property due for some updating. Staff was friendly.
