Residence Inn Charleston Riverview

I would like to commend Trinton Porter for his exemplary service and kindness. He assisted me with printing out some documents that I had requested. Instead of just sending me down the hall, he personally walked down the hall with me and printed the documents for me. That is so wonderful since I am not so computer savvy. Thank you so much for your kindness!

Room was not a great location

Spacious, clean room. Closed balcony was very comfortable during wind and rain.

No makeup remover cloths in bathroom

Marriott Charleston Riverview is an ideal choice for those visiting Charleston or Folly Beach as the location is ideal without the steep price of downtown hotels. We were able to easily drive to Folly Beach for a day of Beach walking and hanging out on the pier. Surprisingly, there is little street noise for the close proximity to a major access point to the city. A small marina is nearby which allows viewing of docked boats as well as those sailing the river. The staff is friendly and seem happy ensuring guests feel welcome. The hotel is well-maintained with comfortable beds and very clean bathrooms. The only recommendations I have would be to remove the dated popcorn ceilings in the rooms and modify bathtubs to a walk-in showers. Highy recommend and we would stay again!

Nära motorväg och tunna fönster, men trafiken avtog på kvällen. Be om ett rum som inte heter mot motorvägen.

The staff was super nice. Free parking and close to downtown.

Dirty dishes in the cupboard. The floor/carpet was wet from the kitchen area and never dried up. Maintenance came the next day and said he would have to get his supervisor to find out why it was wet. We left the next day before the supervisor ever came. Also found a used plastic glove in the living room.
