Unprofessional staff, clear lack of consistent staff training and coaching, tired facilities and untended grounds combined with THE worst room I have ever stayed in. Superior Room, balcony with sea view. A horrendous experience right up to the time of packing to leave. A 3 night stay prior to a wedding function in Ibiza. Our experience at Me Ibiza started when my partner and I first arrived by car after a 9hr journey, as soon as I opened my vehicle door, we were overwhelmed by a couple of over excited staff members that wanted to lift our 4 cases. They were so overwhelming reaching into the car that I couldn’t even think. We checked in and as it was around midday, our room that we were allocated wasn’t ready but the guy on reception said that it would be ready shortly! So he suggested we went to have some lunch in the restaurant which we did, only to be told when we got into the restaurant that food would not be available until 1pm. In the end we wasted 3hrs waiting afor our room to be made available at 3pm. If the guy on the desk had told us our room wouldn’t be ready until 3pm, it wouldn’t have been a problem we would have changed and gone in the pool. Whilst we were sat on the open terrace for 3 hrs alarm bells started to ring as we just observed one unprofessional staff interaction after the next, all of which whilst being overwhelmed by the smell of sewage seeping out over the lawn right next to the terrace where we were eating. So we collected our key at 3pm and were taken to room 117, on arrival into the room we were shocked to find that the room itself had a totally open plan design which could only be described as sleeping in your own closet. Even the shower was integrated into the bedroom with a clear glass screen with modesty strip giving you some privacy. Where do you put all your stuff we thought! Unfortunately it all has to stay out on show in the middle of the room, ( please see actual photos of our superior room with balcony and sea view). You couldn’t even walk around the bed without knocking into your clothes or scraping your shoulder on the shelving units. There was totally inadequate space to hang all our clothes and the space you did have was right next to the open plan wash basin. When we fully opened the curtains we discovered yes we did have a narrow sea view but this was totally overwhelmed by the other hotel rooms looking onto our balcony. We immediately went back to reception to ask for an alternative room as we were not happy with the closet arrangement and lack of hanging space. We were told no alternative available and when we asked to speak with a manager we were told no management were available. I actually told the guy on the desk that we would have to take some of our clothes to another hotel to enable us to hang all our clothes, but he was not interested. By this time it was about 4:30pm and we were so tired that we went back to the original room and unpacked. The uploaded photos do not portray how depressing our room was and how much it ruined our 3 night stay. On the first evening I actually had to drive a 50 km round trip to hang up the rest of our clothes in a friends hotel room. On the first morning we noticed that our shower had approx 20mm of dirty freezing cold water in the shower tray that had not drained away from the night before, so we had to wade through this in order to take a shower which was a horrible experience and despite raising to reception, this remained the same throughout our stay. It way due to the shower tray originally installed incorrectly with insufficient fall to ensure it drained completely. Only on day two after I was asked by our online booking agent for feedback did I leave a negative review which miraculously resulted in the customer services manager from the hotel calling me in the afternoon whilst we were out. I spent an hour on the phone explaining exactly why I gave a negative review. The manager loosely suggested that they may be able to find an alternative room but as I explained to her this should have been done when we were checking in the day before and were clearly unhappy with the allocated room. The customer service manager did introduce herself to us in person but I am not confident at all that anything will change following my investment in time to give feedback. During the remainder of our stay at the Me Ibiza we had our only evening meal in the restaurant which even that let down by waitress getting our order incorrect and having to eat our main course without any side order until it arrived 10 mins after main served. Whilst sat in the restaurant that evening we again were subjected to witnessing multiple unprofessional staff interactions with guests. I am now tired of recounting our experiences but I must document the lasting memory I have of checking out from Me Ibiza. Checkout is 12 midday, we were busy packing in our room at around 11.30 am when we had 2 separate knocks on our door and a member of staff shouting and then moving away. Although annoyed at being disturbed more than once we carried on packing. At around 11.40am we were still packing and suddenly we were shocked when our room door burst open and someone started to come in and then quickly shot back out and closed our door. I quickly reopened our door and could see a housekeeping lady stood in the corridor, I asked why she came in our room and she said she wanted to check the mini bar. I said we don’t check out until 12 midday and are still packing but she could quickly look as we had not taken anything from the mini bar. The lady came in and unusually started to empty the contents of our fridge onto the cupboard top, I asked here to leave as it was really annoying us, after a while she walked out of our room closed the door and then a couple of minutes later burst back in again and proceeded to carry on moving bottles in and out of the fridge. I again said we had the room until 12 and could she leave to allow us to pack, to which she just carried on muttering in Spanish. I then asked her a final time to get out of our room, to which I was shocked by her reply using clear English, she said she would go but was taking the waters and picked up two water bottles in defiance and left. I have never in my life had to instruct a member of hotel staff out of a room before it was a extremely distressing experience right at the end of and already unpleasant stay. And to really make matters even worse after moving our luggage back down to reception to check out, the lady on the desk first scripted words were ‘have you enjoyed your stay with us’ this suddenly brought back a wave of disappointment and dissatisfaction that is impossible to put into words. Reception staff should always ask for the guests room number and read any notes prior to asking scripted questions. We were really glad to leave Me Ibiza but I really hope my feedback will help the team to improve.

We were lucky enough to totally surprise the children with a last minute holiday to Me Ibiza. Wow what a hotel, from the moment you walk in and smell the hotels unique scent, to seeing the view across the pool and sea, to the decor, service and room. The breakfast choice was so varied and perfect for us as a family. We chose interconnecting rooms which worked so well for us and we all loved the location. Short walks along the coast to other beautiful spots. The adults only room top pool has stunning views. The staff were so attentive and helpful, offering to take us to local restaurants. Dysfunctional in one word. This was our second negative experience at Me Ibiza and this 3 night stay in May 25 was the most disappointing stay ever. Booked a superior room with terrace and sea view. Please view photos of our actual room in this 5 star hotel. Room was totally dysfunctional and totally void of any character, we literally were staying in our own closet, not enough room to hang clothes or store your belongings, not enough room around bed to get out without putting your head in your clothes hanging up, the sink was within the open bedroom and right next to your clothes hanging up. All the clothes we hung up were being constantly splashed with soap and water from the sink. Even the awful tv at the bottom of the bed had been installed off centre and not level. The shower was also open to our room, just a glass cubicle with a small frosted band at waist height. The shower tray had been installed incorrectly so after each shower your dirty water just stayed in the bottom of the shower tray, not what you want first thing in the morning to have to paddle through 20mm of freezing cold dirty water from your previous nights shower the night before. Our room 117 felt very dated and tired, marks on walls, tiles in shower cubicle hanging off, generally grubby feeling, even on the heavily overlooked terrace there was rust stained rendering, dirty glass on windows. General staff were unprofessional and inadequately trained, The single most stressful sensory experience ever.

We normally stay at their sister hotel Melia Ibiza, however we were informed that Melia Ibiza would be closed during the dates of our stay and offered us ME Ibiza instead. We were a little apprehensive before our stay as we had always loved staying in Santa Eulalia and being close to restaurants and shops. There was no need for us to worry! From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty! All the staff in the hotel are so friendly, champagne/beer on arrival and they offered us an upgrade to a suite. Before deciding on our room for the week, a lovely lady on reception showed us around the rooms to help us make a decision. We were amazed by how large the suite was, double shower and bathtub in the room, plenty of wardrobe space, the bed was huge! We opted for the suite that overlooked the gardens rather than the one overlooking the pool. It had French balcony’s (4 to be exact), whereas the one overlooking the pool did have a balcony you could sit on, but the room was very long and narrow. One thing to point out is that you will be asked to pay a substantial security deposit on arrival. This was something that we had never been asked to do in Melia Ibiza, it was around £1100. Just something to be aware of, as it will be held until you check out. The area is quiet compared to Santa Eulalia, we found ourselves walking into Es Cana most nights, as we had friends staying in that area. Santa Eulalia is approx 35 min walk, and Es Cana approx 20 min walk almond the beach. The service at the hotel is exceptional, they cannot do enough for you. We did find the breakfast selection not as vast as Melia Ibiza, but we enjoyed the food that was available every morning. The chef was always friendly and would cook fresh dishes for you. The gym was adequate, and the spa was lovely too! We are glad we had the experience of staying here, it is definitely a luxury hotel. Thank you ME Ibiza for a wonderful week away!

ME Ibiza is a very tranquil and relaxed hotel, admittedly we were staying out of season. It's an intimate hotel with a lovely island atmosphere. I think the staff are what really make this hotel special. We were looked after very well. The breakfast was really good, something for everyone. We are looking forward to returning.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. The hotel itself is a beautiful, relaxing space for guests to just chill. The breakfast included was lovely, most of the staff friendly apart from one sharp male staff member at breakfast. Lunch is extremely expensive, I’m talking €27 for a sandwich. We decided to explore and walked out of the hotel out the back and turn left you have a row of beach restaurants which are so much cheaper and affordable. If you are planning to go out for the day the bus takes you directly to Ibiza town, and other destinations on the island we visited Es Caná which was amazing the hippie market is on a Wednesday & there are also lots of bars and restaurants more affordable there. The rooms were cleaned everyday, chocolates left on the pillow and fresh water which is free. Breakfast is superb. Catering for dairy free milks & vegans too. The rooftop pool was gorgeous it’s adults only but perfect. A cocktail is €20 and €65 for a jug of sangria. Overall a lovely holiday & we hope to return.

This place is heaven on earth! Beautiful location with wonderful, surroundings, room and staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Staff go out of their way to accommodate you. Mike on reception desk to Pablo in management made sure that they did everything to help make our stay wonderful. Rooms were large, facilities great and the scenery and view from pool and rooftop pool are the best in Ibiza. I would go back in a heartbeat and recommend to everyone I know! Do not hesitate, book a stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Just got back from a stay at the ME hotel in Ibiza, nice hotel, clean, modern and stylish, great staff and a good location. BUT - definitely not 5 star, it’s a very nice hotel but a 4 star not 5. Punching above its weight a little, charging 10euros for an opened bottle of filtered water is extortionate, the food is unbelievably expensive for what it is, a sandwich, a salad a bottle of water 80 euros. By being expensive it doesn’t make it a 5 star it just makes it a very expensive 4 star. Don’t get me wrong, it was a pleasant stay I just get annoyed when the photos and the blurb don’t match the reality. Lots of shabby areas, the garden around the hotel needed serious tidying up, lots of broken tiles and scum around the rooftop pool, rooms quite small and impractical, Overall in my opinion it was average but NOT excellent. The Melia brand need to up their game a bit. But saying all that, if you want to stay in a relaxing laid hotel then this is the place for you, however take a fat wallet with you.
