Days Inn by Wyndham McDonough

I was pleased with the Sleep Inn. Parking was excellent, convenient off the freeway, quiet. We had a handicap room, very roomy. Beds and pillows very comfy. It is in a decent neighborhood, I felt safe there. Evening desk clerk was very polite, as was the morning clerk. Breakfast was okay; the pictures made it look like there was more variety. But it was okay. My only 3 negative impressions: the elevator was out, our room smelled rather smoky. Not that anyone had smoked there, but I think the AC pulled in outside air, where a couple of people were hanging around the front, smoking. And that’s the other negative, a couple of sketchy people hanging around the front. But there were no problems, it’s just a “first impressions” thing.

Breakfast was ok. Location good.

The room and the hallway was so stink I had to go out and buy air freshener and it did no good at all.i told the front desk and his response was no one else complained about the Smell in the room. We told them we needed room service and all they did was take out one garbage can and not the other. I had to go get toilet paper.

It’s a very ugly establishment beds are old and needs to be replace carpets dirty has a smell in the hallway

We weren't sure that the towels were clean. The towel bar fell off the wall with a simple grab of the towel.

You can hear everything. People were slamming doors until midnight. People next door were fighting. Could hear everything they were saying. Had a conjoining door that their children kept knocking on and turning the handle.
