Baymont by Wyndham Slidell

It was conveniently located and a clean place

The first night there at 12:45 am the fire alarm went off. No fire thankfully. Guessing someone set it off but we got woken up to a scary alarm.

It located close to New Orleans and freeway.

We picked this hotel as a pit stop to our final destination the day of our stay. The rooms were the dirtiest rooms I have ever seen. There was a leaky toilet in the first room they sent us to that made the entire room smell. On the wall near the toilet was black mold and a Mushroom sprouting from the wall! They tried to cover it up with some sort of perfume. The next room they moved us to the blankets and sheets were stained. Absolutely disgusting!

The staff were very responsive, polite and the room was great, I would highly recomend. I will be staying here in the future

Sheets was dirty when I arrived.

Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Location next to the interstate. Continental breakfast. The shower.

No hot breakfast. Other people that stay were a bit loud.

The room that I was given had an odor of stool once the bedspread was pulled back. I spoke to the clerk and she offered me sheets to change the bed. I explained to her after driving 15 hours that I was not changing sheets. Once I told her that I was checking out she then offered ma another room. I don't think I would stay here again.

We had a room on the Road side of the hotel and there was traffic songs till the wee hours. The room we stayed in was very nice. Bath area was a little outdated, but nice. The breakfast was a little Skimpy however I had some waffles that were very good. In a nutshell, we will stay there again if we ever cruise out of New Orleans.
