Baymont by Wyndham Slidell

Room was nice but smaller than I expected. Nice area and close to the interstate and shopping areas.

I love this location I always stay here on any trip to New Orleans. 15-20 minute drive to the strip.

The hotel was clean. Will recommend.

It was very clean and comfortable and front desk staff were very nice . The only issue was a loud sound that would go off periodically and it sounded like pipes or something grinding . It would wake me up . Other than that , it was perfect

I stayed at this location 3 years ago and it was great....this is why I booked it again. This time, upon entering the front lobby it seemed more "run down" than the past stay, but I didnt want to judge it on this alone. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. When we entered the room, there was an odor...a bad odor. It was sort of a mix of mildew and body odor. The floor in the bathroom had stuff on it like it had not been swept after the last guests. The bed was extrememly uncomfortable..... I dont know if the mattresses are old or new and just not a decent quality. Either way, it was very uncomfortable. I would not stay at this hotel again. I am rating a 2 only because the staff was very pleasant and welcoming and we appreciated that very much.

The lock on room 108 was not working properly. Key wouldn’t open the door reported in and she was going to let them know. To repair it.

Average hotel. Except what you paid for. Breakfast is not continental, just waffle, cereal and muffins. But not bad. Rooms are tiny and average quality. Staff was friendly

We were traveling through from South Texas to Florida. This hotel was great. The beds were very soft and comfortable! The shower was a little weird, but other than that, it was great! The staff could have been a bit friendlier, and engaging. But all in all, a good stay.
