"Red Lion Inn Des Moines needs updated pics!"

Bed was comfortable. Sauna tub was nice.

Room was dirty. There was a pile of gross dust bunnies behind the chair. No cups in the room,no kleenex. Sitting in the chair at the table was like riding a bucking bronco.This hotel needs major updates! The bathroom smelled like sewage. Mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. TV didn't work when we got there. It took the night attendant a while to fix it. The day time desk person was nice but rude also. And I didn't appreciate him telling my husband I was flirting with him. When i clearly wasn't.The evening desk person was very nice and helpful. Asked the daytime attendant for cups,clean towels, and toilet paper and he said I wasn't allowed to ask the maids because they were busy, another employee tried to help and he got upset at that employee. Will NEVER stay there again!
