"Ok for pre-cruise stay"

Warmish welcome with cold towels on arrival. Check in was smooth. Restaurant was OK with semi-friendly staff with occasional smiles. Food was average. OK for precruise stay but quite far from the cruise terminal. Fair value for money

Hotel is set in beautiful well kept grounds. Staff are friendly and attentive, rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. Good breakfast daily meals generally good, with excellent table service even if food service is a little slow. Pool area is lovely and pool bar service good with a good choice of drinks available. Only issue was water temperature in room could’ve been warmer and more pressure to shower, this was also noted by housekeeping. Would stay again and recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday.

"Lovely grounds, disappointing stay"

The grounds were beautiful but many of the staff were unwelcoming and rude. Michelle on reception was lovely and a young bar staff member but that was it.

The majority of staff were unfriendly and the food was very disappointing. Considering it was Christmas no real effort was made to provide Christmas day atmosphere or food.
