TownePlace Suites by Marriott Baton Rouge South

Breakfast was good, coffee was good. Staff did an excellent job setting up and preparing the breakfast items! Location was good for our stay in the area and for the USBC Bowling tournament.

The outside pavilion was okay, but kind of dirty. But that could be the guests that used it right before us. Pot smokers discouraged us from using it after the first night. In our opinion, this hotel is not up to the Marriott standards that we are accustomed to and enjoy using!

Old and run down. People hanging around all outside and in groups around property.

staff was great, residents were loud , dogs running up and down the hall and the smell of THC coming out of the room next to was very strong. Party was going on all night .

Carpet was dirty on stairs & in hallways. Homeless man sitting in parking lot.

I liked that there was a kitchen in our room and the breakfast was good.

The fridge had rust all along the side and the sink didn’t drain well. There was mold in the shower and shower head and the fixtures were rusted out. There were also riches (one live and one dead on the floor). It clearly had not been swept or very well cleaned. Not Marriott standard for sure. The mattress was cheap and you could fell the individual springs. I woke up with back pain.

Breakfast was awesome with so many options to fit any diet. The staff keep everything hot and fresh. The bed was comfortable but there was not enough space on the left side between the wall and the bed. For me it was not a problem,but someone very large would be tight

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was easy to find and it was very quiet. I would stay here again.

I was dropping my son off to college and my experience was so amazing. I’m actually coming back again next month thank you so much for the staff for making us feel welcome. See you soon.
