TownePlace Suites Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport/Eagan

Hotel staff breached our safety and privacy when they booked another guest into our room while we were still there. This guess was given a key to our room and he entered while we were there. It was a bit unnerving. Hotel staff made a big mistake.

Great amenities in the rooms.

Dated but well kept up. It was nice to have a mini kitchen with a real refrigerator. Nice shower. Reasonable price.

The room looked great and smelled fresh and clean. It was much more room than I needed for my short stay. I really appreciated the extra places to set my things down, and the refrigerator to keep my beverages cold was great. They offered a few complementary breakfast options & even had cold items to take if you left before they had some warm items out. Both of the staff members that I met were friendly. I would stay here again if in the area.

Room was dirty—bathroom mirror had gross smudges all over it, dirt/grime everywhere, dust bunnies, hair (that definitely wasn’t mine or spouses) all over carpet in room, crumbs too. Very thin walls and floors—sounded like people were stomping all night. Barely slept. On the positive, checkin was super smooth and the front desk staff was very polite.

The only thing going for this place is the proximity to the airport and free parking. Otherwise we would have checked out after the first night. The breakfast was free and hot but after two days I couldn't face it again. Sad scrambled powdered eggs and little spinach quiches. The bathroom door had been kicked and broken. Housekeeping only cleaned our room twice in a week. Wish they would have taken out the trash. we had a double bedroom suite and two of the three TVs were non functional for a day plus the Internet went out the last day. Finally, it was so noisy. When the people above our room walked, every single step made the ceiling, lights and pictures shake. It was awful.

Hotel was fine for what we needed. We liked the 2 bed room suite option. Price was decent. Could use a bathroom remodle but everything was functional.

Overbooked the airport shuttle, which was the main reason for staying there. Didn’t notify us, we had to find our own transportation to the airport. Overall seemed run down and dirty.

Water damage on baseboards in bathroom. Repairs looked a bit shoddy

Room was big. The staff was friendly. The hotel and the room was convenient. Parking was adequate.

Room was clean and big, however it was dated and was in need of upgrades to the the kitchen area and bathroom. The door to the toilet and tub area did not close. The carpet was worn. The couch looked dirty. The table with the telephone was wobbly. It might have been spotless, but because it was worn, and the appliances were old, it didn't feel like a Marriott.
