Elk + Avenue Hotel

We stayed for three nights before boarding the Rocky Mountaineer and had a very good experience overall. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The gentleman at check in was very helpful,informative and really made you feel welcome. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The location is very central but also quiet. We used the onsite coffee shop and restaurant and both were very good. I would happily stay here if we are lucky enough to visit beautiful Banff again.

Excellent location - in the heart of Banff village. Lovely spacious room and very well presented. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

Common areas were far too hot. Air conditioning is noisy. Rooms are tired and need updating. Housekeeping inadequate. Bathrooms should be cleaned daily and tea cups etc changed

The location to the buses, IGA, shops and restaurants, the views of the mountains. Their onsite restaurant, gift shop, coffee cafe, and beautiful lounge areas.

The lack of a safety deposit in the hotel room.

Location, room was spacious great view, comfy bed.room was available when we checked in, my special request for my kid's bday was given. Accommodating n friendly staff.

The door on the cabinet fridge bangs so need to put a stopper to silence it. The shampoo and conditioner itsnt good for my hair. No bar soap, room slippers, room service, breakfast buffet which i prefer

Very convenient for Shops, Restaurants and most importantly the Ski Shuttle Bus stop.

Rooms were large and comfortable but probably needed a little TLC from the maintenance team, although nothing major just the odd scuff here and there.
