Abbeyglen Castle Hotel

I didn't stay in the hotel but enjoyed a cocktail with my friends in the garden in the beautiful April sun after a walk to Clifden Castle. Staff and management were so welcoming and friendly. I had difficulty later in the evening charging my EV in the town as there were no suitable chargers, but the wonderful people in Abbeyglen Castle let me charge my car for a few hours and then wouldn't take any payment for it even though I wasn't a resident. I thought it was a lovely gesture and I'll certainly call back again to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and interiors of this wonderful hotel. Thank you for your kindness.

We have stayed in the Abbeyglen multiple times now. Every time we are in the area we choose the Abbeyglen as not only for its rustic charm, scenic views and their amenities but also for their service as a team. However, staying at the Abbeyglen is not just treated as a service from then to their customers but instead it is treated as an experience. Would HIGHLY recommend anyone considering visiting the area to stay there.

Beautiful castle with a great location just on the rim om Clifden. Alot of parking space and very nice and helpful staff. We got prosseco and a historical talk upon arrival witch was very nice. Room was huge and bathroom to. A lovely stay.

Breakast was small, not much to choose from but everything was very fresh and tasty.
