Location was good - off the main roads so it was quiet.

One of the deciding factors in booking this place was the bistro on-site. The website shows that it was open 7 days a week, until 10pm. We got in late on Sunday night (9:30ish), we planned to grab a sandwich and a glass of wine after a long travel day. When asked about it at check-in, we were told it was closed on Sundays.... When we got back on Monday after sightseeing, we were told it was closed until Thursday.... Tuesday afternoon, I asked for a corkscrew and two wine glasses - I was told I could get the glasses at the Bistro. It looked like it was set up for cocktails, but there was no bartender there.... It was open for breakfast. The prices were ridiculous - like airport food prices. $24+ for two small coffees (just brewed coffee), and a couple of muffins.

It's location close to a subway station and many of the attractions and public buildings in DC

Brilliantly located within walking distance from Washington DC's main attractions. Quiet and beautiful area around the hotel. Very friendly and competent staff. Starbucks in the lobby area :-)

The information on additional parking fee of app. 30 USD per day is not disclosed transparently on booking.com. Neither is the information that parking at that price is some distance from the hotel. If you want to park at the hotel's garage you need to use the valet which is even more expensive. Fortunately weekends are free for street parking.
