Pink Sands Resort

The hotel has some very friendly staff & gorgeous views. However, the rooms and other facilities really need to be updated. Pink Sands used to be the nicest hotel on the island. Unfortunately, that's not the case anymore. Their neighbor hotels on the same stretch of beach (The Coral Sands & The Dunmore) are both much nicer hotels now. I love "old school" places...but this is just in need of some serious renovations.

Not up to standards. A pretty setting but a bit worn out. They seem to be in some sort of transition from a luxury hotel to individually owned condos. Not worth the price.

Staff were very good villas very comfortable. Very peacefull we loved it !!!

Nothing bad to say about the hotel. Its a very nice villa oriented hotel with paths that lead to a very sweet stretch of beach. The lobby area has a very Victorian feel to it and the rooms themselves are nice. They are a bit dated and probably require some upgrading and some paint, but it's not like you go to Harbour Island to stay in the room. The Four Seasons it's not, but it's still a very nice place. The Blue Bar was really cool, wish they had some TVs in there for the Superbowl. Staff were very helpful on all counts. pros: location, rooms, private decks and service. Cons: Pool is in a terrible location. I guess when you have that amazing ocean who swims in the pool? Blue Bar seemed a bit sleepy to me, but perhaps it was the time of the year. Looks like it could be a buzzy spot. Not cheap. Get yourself a golf buggy and fill your fridge with booze to avoid paying at the hotel. Would stay at PSR again if I went back to Harbour Island.

Hotel needs major upgrading. Water did not work one night.

Laid back, typical Harbour Island. Food, particularly dinner really excellent. Staff helpful & worked hard to make sure everything went smoothly. Great place, definitely return.
