"A very nice hotel, centrally located, with the fantastic staff."

Fantastic location, fantastic staff, very good breakfast. Leonardo hotel is close to the main points that people like to see in Edinburgh, at is also very close to the University of Edinburgh.

The prices are a bit high. They have gone up several times in the last six years, and I doubt that the staff has seen any similar increase in their salaries.

The rooms were clean, spacious and the shower worked great! There was a mix-up with the booking, I had made it for the wrong day. I thought all was lost, because our room size was not available for the night we needed and the Booking.com staff was NOT helpful at all. However, Chet at the property was so helpful - going above and beyond and figured out a way to move our reservation to the next night. She saved our trip, and our wallet. I will always choose a Leonardo hotel when available because of her.

"Five star hotel amazing staff."

Heritage listed with amazing history and decor. Great for disability lift and showers. Great location on bus route. Food fantastic Friendly staff Highly recommended

"Viel zu überteuertes Hotel, das auf den Fotos modern wirkte, aber leider minderwertig und alt ausgestattet ist."

Die Unterkunft war relativ zentral.

Leider ist das Hotel insgesamt sehr altbacken. Überall Teppiche und generell ein Renovierungsbedürftiger Zustand. In unserem Zimmer ist der Hebel vom Wasserhahn defekt gewesen. Der Fernseher ist quasi nutzlos, da es keine streaming Möglichkeit gab. Es fehlte eine Lüftung oder Klimaanlage, war im Raum kaum erträglich, aufgrund des alten Mobiliars und der stickigen Luft.
