It ticked all the boxes we required: friendly, clean, good food, central location. We especially commend Joseph in the Restaurant and Craig at the front door.

It’s a quiet and relaxing hotel, whether you’re in your room, the lounge, or by the pool. A nice touch is the consistent low music volume throughout the property—including at Mingles Bar—which makes conversation easy. The staff are friendly and welcoming overall, and housekeeping service was impressively quick. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with good lighting, comfortable beds, a workstation, and a cozy reading chair. The A/C is impressively quiet. The in-room coffee and tea are good, and there is also a good-sized (small) fridge, safe, ironing board, and umbrella. The toilet paper was surprisingly soft! The gym is clean, modern, and well-equipped, featuring a variety of machines, dumbbells, and exercise balls.

Service at the pool was lacking, as no one came by to offer drinks or food during the days we were there, and restaurant service could be slow at times, with limited check-ins. The bathroom in the Deluxe Double Room had a few drawbacks, including limited counter space and no convenient outlet for the hair dryer. That said, the housekeeping manager was very helpful in resolving this quickly. Cleanliness could also be slightly improved, as we noticed hairs on the bathroom upon arrival. This is just a personal preference, but adding Netflix to the room’s Smart TV would improve the experience, as cable options are limited.
