Rhinefield House Hotel

The hotel was in the most beautiful settings in the middle of the forest. It was super clean with the most comfy bed and an amazing bath tub. Staff was extremely kind and friendly. The food was truly amazing.

The property is lacking an indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Couldn’t book a massage either. The extractor unit did not work in our bathroom, the bathroom did not have a toilet brush and I couldn’t find the hairdryer either. The mini bar was empty.

Absaloutley beautifull hotel on the outside and gardens but the luxury stops at the front door

outside pool is terrible and shuts at 16.00 pm with check in at 15.00 pm gives you an hour to get in and sorted by the time we got kids in the pool was time to come out. Food in the amada restraunt was fantastic along with the service team, however 2 members of the family were violently ill throughout the night and days to come with food poisning. Given we left in the morning in a terrible state my little girl left her teddy in the room and we called the hotel to check and they confirmed and said we have to pay a fee for them to post it, which i thought after our terrible experience showed a lack of class from managment

The room was adequate yet very comfortable. From the moment we arrived to when we left, the staff exceeded all my expectations. The restaurant was superb, offering exceptional food and excellent service. The bar staff were also a delight to chat with.

We dined in the main restaurant, while the conservatory restaurant looked entirely uninviting. We felt this space could be more welcoming and cosy, in stark contrast to the main restaurant, which is exceptional.

Didn't seem appropriate to ask for things not exactly as menu. If you dont want mushrooms or other items would as example like 3 or 4 sausages with egg and bacon.

The setting is obviously beautiful and that’s what draws you in, but unfortunately the hotel itself doesn’t live up to it at all.

Service / staff This was probably the most disappointing part. Staff felt cold and quite disengaged throughout, and in a few cases borderline rude. Nothing dramatic, just a constant feeling that you’re not really welcome or that you’re somehow bothering them. For a place like this you’d expect at least a minimum level of warmth and professionalism, but it just wasn’t there. “Dog friendly” (not really) This was quite misleading. Yes, dogs are allowed in the hotel, but in reality they are not allowed in many of the main areas, which makes the whole stay quite awkward. You constantly have to think about where you can and can’t go, and it defeats the purpose of choosing a dog-friendly hotel in the first place. Definitely not what most people would expect. Facilities I don’t mind older properties at all, but here it just felt tired rather than charming. Some areas are nice, but overall it feels like things haven’t been updated or properly maintained in a while. For the price you pay, it doesn’t really make sense. Wouldn’t come back.
