Nice pool and sauna. Good food lovely spacious room. Staff very friendly and helpfull

Overall hotel was good, excellent location, grounds and staff, room and bed big and spacious. Eat in the restaurant on the first night, next 3 nights eat out as we were not impressed. Bathroom requires attention as the bath panel was warped, and the mastic around the bath was black. However we will definitely stay their again.

The staff were really friendly and helpful but undertrained. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. Our room was full of cobwebs which were big enough to catch a cat! Cups in the room were dirty. It is a very nice hotel with wonderful staff. A few tweaks would make it so much better.

This small country hotel is a hidden gem - set just off the main road into Caernarfon and in its own well kept grounds. It has plenty of parking. The rooms a well furnished and very spacious . Spotlessly clean. Welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast though dinner wasn’t great I would have no hesitation in booking again - excellent value for money

We had a great 3 nights. Staff very welcoming on arrival and throughout the stay. Pool was a bonus. Only negative was the ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant. Overall we had a good experience and would recommend to friends.

My stay was brief arriving late due to traffic delays on the A55 and I didn't get to use the facilities as the pool, spar and restaurant closes at 9pm. Biggest disappointment was the lack of hot water. I assumed that there wasn't any as the shower ran cold for 20 minutes. I didn't know that if i waited longer it would finally come. I had to leave early, so it was disappointing not to get a shower. I was hoping for better.

Restaurant windows need a thorough clean inside and out the large window Cill has not been wiped in a long time in there. The staff were friendly enough the entire stay.We did not eat in the restaurant a second night after eating over cooked and overpriced burger on the first.The bedroom was clean and comfortable enough.Good and poor really but would not stay again .

Great Hotel with friendly staff. Totally unexpected for the price paid. Would have expected to pay twice as much.

The property it’s self was beautiful and it was great to be able to use the facilities. The pool was definitely the highlight, and my little girl loved it. We had no issues with with food, But the decor could do with some updates. A little tired in areas. My major issue was with the infestation of ants in our bedroom. We stayed in a family room on the ground floor, and paying £166 per night plus extra for cancellation fee (we stayed for 2!!) I was not impressed to say the least! I was appalled by the number of ants coming through from outside. As you could imagine I got no sleep what so ever, my 3 year old also couldn’t settle as she was scared they would crawl all over her if she went to sleep. I spoken to reception about the issue on a number of times they said they would sort it out for us while we were out of the room. So I thought ok that’s fine, if it doesn’t happen again tonight then I’m sure I will be ok. Then when partying to put the little one to sleep, what’s crawling all over the floor, the ants!! So I went back to reception and all their solution to the problem was to use ant spray! But unfortunately it did not work. For the second night I had no sleep. So for me it was the worst £370 I had ever spent, for 2 horrendous nights sleep. I might have well just slept on the grass outside.

I would rate this hotel as excellent all round except they ran out of gas during our second night which meant no hot water for showers in the morning and nothing egg related at breakfast. A fundamental error really which took the edge off an otherwise excellent stay in a delightful hotel in a delightful location.
