Mana Kai Maui- Official Onsite Rental

The room was spacious and comfortable. The layout was terrific. We faced the ocean and it was a delight to sit on our lanai. Rick helped us into our kayak; it was great to not have to schlep it anywhere. Good that there was a General Store. We had a kitchenette, which allowed us to eat our fabulous leftovers. We could get a clean beach towel at any time. We had a terrific experience. We loved being on the 2nd floor. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed.

It is on the beach which every property is on the beach. Beautiful beach. The issue is when we read about the property it said they had a restaurant on site. The prepackaged over priced small portion food is not a restaurant. We did not get a rental car because it should of had food. The money spent on Ubers could of paid for a rental. They open at 8AM so don't think you can have a cup of coffee with the sunrise. the bathroom code changes everyday so when you are at the pool in the early morning you have to go back to your room. This was not an enjoyable trip, not close to our expectations of Hawaii. Mattress was dished so you always rolled into the middle. Property is average. Just too many things added up to won't be back or recommend this place to anyone.

The location of the hotel was perfect close to everything to cheap eats to fancier restaurants free parking, beach was perfect staff was quiet not that we needed attention but you can definitely tell staff are annoyed with tourists they were nice but you can just tell 😂 they are still doing repairs around the hotel. I didn’t really hear any noise we stayed on the 8th floor. -we booked our excursion on the site with Tracey she was very friendly! Gave us some good tips to see turtles and we able 68 of them! Front desk staff were kind! I didn’t get any names but Check in was easy, the pool was fine we didn’t use it, the only cons were there are no free umbrellas for the beach was was odd since it is a beach front property but you can rent them on site. There is lots shade within the palm trees Our room was clean, the layout of our room was a bit weird there was a big lazy chair right in the middle between the corner of the bed and by the windows and couldn’t move the big chair anywhere since it was a small room and made it hard to get out and I ended up hurting myself right in the ankle while trying to get out it’s all swollen now 🥹 The bath tub fixtures need repairs they were hanging on by a thread 😂 and there is AC! Ot was a tiny room but it was great for just two people we were hardly in our room since we wanted to be out. overal out trip was fine! Grateful we got to relax. I hope to be back to stay in another room ❤️

The room we stayed in was cramped and small but honestly was good enough since Maui had more to offer outside the hotel and we spent very little time inside. The showered head had a bad leak and sprayed everywhere that was annoying. The thing we hated the most was how loud it was outside our room especially the cleaning ladies they didnt seem to have much respect for those sleeping at 8am. The Air conditioned bairly worked and the wifi password was too easy for anyone to access. For the price and what was offer i am not sure if id stay there again. However the people at the front desk were extremely nice and friendly and very helpful to anything we needed. If you are looking for a room with a quiet place and a view make sure you book the room that faces the beach the room without a balcony is right next to the walk way everyone walks and it seems no one cared to be quiet between 6am and 10am. Sleeping in on a vacation trip was not possible.

The location was in Kihei with a beautiful beach on the property. The location is perfect and is close to food and restaurants. The units were small but reasonably priced for the location and compared to other resorts. Good parking at night but difficult during the day due to beach access. Nice little store on the first floor with snacks, icecream, etc. as well as a rental store for scuba gear. Oscar helped us when our room code was not provided correctly in the morning (when we checked in). We came back to a locked room and all other employees leave the premises before 5pm. Oscar was a security guard but he deserves to be a night manager. All other employees leave early and there is nobody else there at night to help with guests.

Paulu on the phone as a manager did not help us at first when we mentioned we were locked out. We did not receive any type of compensation for being locked out and we needed to wake up early the next morning at 530 am on the north of the island to visit Molokini via reservation with a Captain. We were stressed out and almost felt as though we would have to sleep outside of our room. Eventually after Oscar (the night security guard) tried, the master keys, the code provided in the morning and we went to help get a ladder with him to climb into the unit, Paulu provided a new code within 5 minutes and explained that they did not want to log into the website that generates the door codes. Essentially could have been a 5 minute call but ended up with my wife and I stranded outside of the room late night.

Lovely resort and staff!! Cant wait to return!

Everything about this place is amazing!

The Mana Kai was excellent. My wife and I stayed here for a week. It's in a very convenient location, very close to Kihei Foodland and other food options. It's also right beside Wailea which has The Shops at Wailea for shopping. The beach attached to the Mana Kai is beautiful and stretches very long along the coast. The beach towels can be exchanged every day and room service every 3 days unless you need it more frequently.The staff there are pretty amazing. Hats off to Sela, Paula and Austin for making our stay memorable.

I had a wonderful stay in Maui, Hawaii! The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax and enjoy my time there. The front desk representative was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make me feel at home. The location was perfect, and everything about the experience felt smooth and stress-free. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Maui!
