wonderful but expensive

our room was facing the railway and a little noisy at night

Just too good location I mean better to stay here than fairmont lake Louise not because of price ,,, but uou are with nature ! N more space in rooms !

Not too many vegetarian options ,,,

This hotel reminded us of a wonderful ski lodge in Bavaria. It was quaint, but not small. We even had a balcony with a snow-capped mountain view and a fireplace. The bed was as good or better we have ever experienced at expensive hotels, in the US or in Europe. The chef's meals were fabulous. As a comparison, we reserved dinner at a very famous large and expensive hotel that gets most of the attention in this location. There was no comparison - the Post easily wins. The breakfast buffet, while a tad expensive, was worth the price. And parking was free at the Post. The staff was absolutely great. It snowed one evening while we were there. As we rushed out to meet our reservation at the gondola ride, thinking we would have to clean the car of snow, we found a young gentleman doing that work for us! We do not hesitate in recommending this wonderful hotel.

Prachtige grote kamer, met bubbelbad. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk. Er is een portier die helpt met de koffers. En ‘s avonds krijg je ‘turn-down service ‘, wat betekent dat ze een flesje water en een koekje komen brengen. De kamer is schoon en ruim. En de shampoo die je kan gebruiken: heerlijk!! Echt een aanrader dit hotel.

Lovely staff. Room nice and comfortable but very traditional and a little tired. Lovely touches with the whirlpool bath which was amazing, and the spa bath salts/toiletries and water etc in the room. Nice big balcony. We ate in the pub and the food was excellent.

The ambience was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and the dining room staff were very attentive. Couldn't fault anything.
