Hôtel Le Saint-James

Style without practicality. Bed too high, toilet too narrow, sofa too low, inadequate lighting in sitting/reading area, shower screen too short so water everywhere and floors slippery. Restaurant closed - only hot option on room service was soup - tasteless and cold. Food extremely expensive - including 10 Euros for an egg as an extra to the 25 Euro breakfast. Feeling that the hotel thinks it is really good - but it isn't!!

Magnífico servicio, excelentes instalaciones; lastima que nos tocó una falla técnica con el agua caliente, la cual fue corregida pero se le olvidó a la recepcionista avisarnos que ya estaba solucionado...

The Saint James is a great place to stay near Bordeaux. There are astounding views of the city and the setting of the hotel is lovely. We had one complaint. The exchange rate of gthe hotel was usury. Pay cash if possible.

L endroit est magique mais l hôtel aurait besoin de plus d entretien surtout concernant l odeur de vieille cuisine quand on sortait de notre chambre, ce qui est très désagréable dans cette catégorie d hôtel, sinon le personnel est vraiment charmant et la vue est magnifique..

Top class hotel. Very stylish and tasteful. Very expensive two Michelin star restaurant and a casual cafe provide great options for dining. Rooms are superbly laid out to optimize space and views over the Garonne valley and Bordeax.

This place is very special. The view from the room was fascinating and the room itself was very large and comfortable.

Perfect Food in the **-Gourmet-Restaurant but - if you like a marvelous piece of meet with a good french wine - also in the Café de l Espérance which is a rôtisserie.

Excellent à tout point de vue. Chambre parfaite avec une vue idyllique de jour et de NUIT !!! Seule petite réserve : clim un peu bruyante.
