De lokatie was top ! In het groen vlak bij het centrum van tours.

Het ontbijt vond ik minder dan wat ik er van verwachtte.

We had a beautiful large bedroom, fridge, tea making etc. The reception team were very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is a group and conference hotel. The garden was taken over by these groups having drinks, evening bbq’s, business meetings and loud team building exercises, this made it difficult to find somewhere to relax in the afternoon or evening. There were a few sun beds next to the indoor pool but a large sign saying these couldn’t be taken outside. This would suggest that guests want to lie in the sun on a sunbed! So why not put some outside rather than the circle of uncomfortable plastic chairs that’s there. Breakfast was poor. On our first morning there had been a group in before us and they had run out of croissants and baguette, no meats or fruit salad left and these items formed the majority of the offering. There were two female members of staff who didn’t greet or welcome one guest in the three days we were there or smiled at anyone. None of our plates were cleared as we finished It was a very disappointing experience for a hotel of this standard.

We stayed here on our way South - we should have booked 2 nights to enjoy it more. A very nice hotel in a lovely setting with a short walk to the city centre. Helpful staff and, whilst we didn’t eat in the restaurant (which was very busy) we didn’t eat manage to get a charcuterie platter and drinks outside on the terrace. We had a really large and luxurious suite.

Location is good. Rooms are good.

What should have been a lovely stay was let down by haphazard management and staff attitudes: receptionists - one rude, one very pleasant and helpful; restaurant staff very good once we finally got their attention; no query at checkout on whether we had a good stay. They were unable to fulfil the standard of room we booked and were charged for. Ten days on there’s no sign of the promised refund of the difference.

The hotel is fabulous. Such a nice stay for our last day in Tours. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were really friendly and very accommodating. The grounds are amazing and the pool facilities are clean and wonderful to relax in.

No issues for us. We loved the hotel.
