"Amazing place, slightly let down by the restaurant"

Beautiful location, amazing grounds, awesome spacious room, very pleasant staff, including Carlton - who was particularly helpful and good with our baby :) Swimming pool is nice. Amazing views.

The restaurant is a complete mess. Dinner and breakfast servings were slightly farcical with meals taking hours to appear and food undercooked or incorrect. It was a real shame because the rest of the hotel is amazing. Management don’t seem to have a grip on what’s going on in the restaurant, and the staff are all over the place and complaining about each other and the chef and management etc… All very unprofessional and disappointing. The lunch serving seemed to be ok for some reason, and the food was great.
