La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Omaha Airport Downtown

When I arrived at 0400, due to my flight delay I found out they no showed me. They said they already did their audit, and no showed us. I had to Delta, since I booked through my miles. They should be credited back. I had to rebook and pay for the room, as my miles wouldn't be credited back to me for a week. When we got to the room, there was painters tape all around the door. I thought it hasn't even mine because it looked like it was still being painted. When entered the room, we were hit with a horrible smell like animal urine and it was terribly hot in the room. I was so exhausted at this point, I just wanted to sleep. I thought it was because the room was just hot and humid. We fell asleep and when I tried to cover my face, so I didn't have to smell the urine smell, it felt like I was smelly on the linens, as well. I should have had them switch me rooms at that point. Unfortunately, I didn't. The lady at the desk, didn't seem like she would do much to help me anyway. I would say this stay was horrible! When I told them at check out, he just said, I'm sorry." Would not recommend this location.

Was great

Wifi was updated today, but a slow roll to communicate the update. I appreciated the automated text, but it did not pass along the updated password. Elevator door closed on my hand. Door key doesn't work on the nearest outside door. This location seems to have a staff of 1 and she is doing an awesome job solving problems

The staff was excellent but the room was not very good. 1. Rust stained tub around drain 2. Poorly lit room with bad light bulbs 3. Smelled like pot 4. Wall in bathroom had incomplete spackle repair 5. AC unit did not keep room cool 6. Shower regulator didn't work well(top hot or too cold)...needs to be replaced

This hotel is DEFINITELY not a three star or above. Visible water damage and stains in the room. Paper thin walls. Water in the halls from the pool. Flashing emergency lights in the room. None of which was a massive problem. The lights situation in the room was. Apparently you have to turn on one light switch in the room to control ALL the lights. That's room, closet even bathroom. Something I didn't know as I'm sitting in the bathroom in the dark using my phone as a light. It DEFINITELY was an adventure.

Property overall looks decent but is in need of some upgrades, change the mildewed shower curtain

The breakfast was nice the staff was friendly. One staff member to cover the desk and the airport shuttle. and only one person to cover everything on Monday even breakfast.

The only thing we like was the breakfast. We didn't like the lack of information at the arriving.From the 8 days room was clean 1time . We ask for an iron and we received the 3er day . The room was to dark , we ask for a lamp and we received the 4rd day after. The curtain in the shower was with pink stains and dry soap on it from prior guests..we have to ask for towels all the time and request for the room to be clean. The laundry was a disaster, all dirty and in the entrance a big spot of dry chocolate liquid you have to jump over. We couldn't use the laundry. The bed was to hard and the pillows were to flat you have to put 2 together to make one. To be 8 days there was not to comfortable.
