This is a lovely hotel right in the heart of Old Town, so it is a great location for a visit to Riga. The breakfast room was very lovely and every staff member we encountered was helpful and kind. The bathroom in our room was really nice and the room itself was small but nice.

The lobby feels like it could use a bit of an upgrade - it looks like a hotel that was once beautiful but is in need in some sprucing up. The lobby/elevator area also smelled like cigarettes which wasn't pleasant. Thankfully the smell didn't extend into the room.

Located in the old town, close to bars, cafes and attraction. Quiet, comfy rooms. Staff could not have been any more helpful.

Loved my stay at The Grand Palace … fantastic location, very comfortable and charming staff. Perfect to walk from to see The Old Town and the Art Nouvau districts . So many beautiful buildings to see in Riga and a great choice of well priced restaurants offered high quality food
