SpringHill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Washington

The property needs a lot of work. Elevator broken, ice machines broken. Very disappointed…spring hill is normally outstanding.

Elevator was broken , had to climb up to 3rd floor. Ice vending machines were broken .

it is a disgrace to have this represent a Marriott property. worst hotel I have ever stayed at. multiple outages including elevator,hot tub.multiple lies spread by employees about repairs being done.the place is a dive.Sell this place and remove Marriott name.

First I’d like to say that the lady working the front desk upon our arrival was very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we were notified the elevator was not working. Originally I had requested a high floor through the Bon Voy app, but I was traveling with my mom who is 5 months out from a hip replacement surgery. We were moved to the second floor to reduce the amount of steps she had to walk. I booked the room the morning of our reservation and it would have been nice to know upon booking that the elevator was not working as I would have chosen a different hotel for my mom’s comfort. The ice maker on our floor did not work. Our room was clean, however, the fitted sheet was a little threadbare, the bathroom light kept coming on (it was hard to turn off), and the lamp in the corner had a flickering light. The couch in the room had questionable stains and the hallway and stairwell carpeting looked dirty and was pulling up in areas. I made sure to stay right with my mom when she was on the steps to make sure she didn’t trip. Lastly, we were told we could park on the side of the building and use the entrance by the steps, but our keycard did not work there, nor did the keycards of other quests as several of us helped each other in and out. Like I said, front desk staff was very nice, but the hotel condition was not wonderful and could definitely use some updating.

Last 2 times there something is always broke. This time the elevator was broken. Housekeeping has to be asked for services, they just don't clean your room daily.

Everything was broke and not working , elevator, hot tub, snack bar fridge out of order. The keyholes to room missing cover had tissue stuffed in them , new room toilet was dirty public hairs on seat had to ask for new room also the tub had blood stains yikes.

Room was great. Unfortunately while I was there the elevator was broke.

everything was broken. Hot tub was down which we probably would not of used anyways. Ice machine on 3rd floor was broken so note said please use machine on 2nd floor. Machine on 2nd floor was broken so went to first floor. Elevator broke so had to use stairs. Did I mention we were on 3rd floor. Room was very noisy. Taking luggage and coolers down stairs very inconvenient. We stay there a couple times a year but it seems to be steadily declining, needs to be updated. Not what we expected from a Marriot property. Probably wont be back.
