That's the town motto and it's as unique as the location. We were there to visit a college but we felt like we'd stepped into a facade of some sort. The hot tub looked a little iffy, as far as cleanliness, but it was still nice. The pool was lovely. The hotel was almost eerily quiet. I never heard people in the halls at all. Saw some folks in the pool area and a few at the breakfast buffett but often felt like we were alone. Never anyone in the lobby, always had to ring the bell at the desk to reach someone. It was interesting.

We were there for a hockey tournament. Other than having to pay $100 to rent the breakfast room for dinner with the team, it was very nice and clean.

The mini fridge in our room still had someone else’s food in it and the underside of the toilet seat was full of poop. I did alert the front desk once I noted the issues, but they wrote me off telling me that I should have let them know right away….I’m sorry, as a female I don’t generally make a common practice of lifting the toilet seat, I only lifted it by accident and noted the issue. None the less, I don’t think they cared. Several breakfast items had run out, but the staff were very dismissive and did not refill things. Our group was able to rent the conference room, but the fact that they would only take $100 cash was quite unsettling. The other issue I had is that our room was at the end of the hall and we heard the door going to the outside of the building opening and closing all night long, which didn’t make for good night’s sleep. Lastly, cigarette smoke from the smokers right outside seemed to seep right into our room, also not great.

Other than the group of kids running up and down the hall and the fact I couldn’t get a late checkout - it was ok

Took a 1/2 hr to check in- associate says it was an Expedia problem - but it clearly was hers.

We were pleased with the stay
