Red Roof Inn & Suites Calhoun

Very convenient location. Clean. Affordable. Breakfast was simple, basic cold continental. All we needed was a place to sleep for the night as we were traveling through. It worked fine and we would probably stay again.

First I was booked at a location in Georgia and when I contacted the property I was told there was one room left hung up when I mentioned I am disabled.

Staff was nice.

Lots of deferred maintenance. Couldn't even get the shower to work. Called front desk and he nicely gave us a tip on how to make it work (basically pull real hard). Lots of damage around the room that never got fixed. Hotel has gone way downhill in the 4 years we have been coming there. Won't be back.

This property was located in an area with several stores and restaurants within walking distance. Room and lobby were clean. Property was well lit and seemed very safe.

There was no elevator and our room was on the second floor. The desk clerk did ask if a second floor stay was ok so I could have declined but the lack of elevator made the stay much less enjoyable.
