Hyatt Place Baltimore Owings Mills

This is actually the most depressing Hyatt property I've ever stayed at (I'm an Explorist have stayed at many Hyatts over the years). In fact I've stayed here twice only because it's the closest Hyatt that met my needs for events, so I feel uniquely qualified to say it's not only depressing, it's a tired, run down property that needs to be removed from the Hyatt portfolio. The bathrooms have peeling paint, mold and mildew in the showers, and the sinks are always clogged or slow to drain. The lighting is terrible. The tvs are at least 15 years old and have no smart features. The doors are so loud you constantly hear them slamming and the walls are thin. Both times I've had corner rooms closest to the main road and the traffic is really loud too (lots of motorcycles and loud engines). It's not even worth staying here to earn qualifying nights or spend. The only redeeming quality is the front desk staff who have always been friendly.

The location was convenient for the purpose of trip.

Smell of mold, dirty carpets and mattress of sleeper sofa was very bad

The staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. Everything was very clean, including the room, the common areas, outside, etc. Thank you!

Had a nice stay minus the people playing with the fire alarm at 4 in the morning the morning I checked out. Wish I had a chance to have tried breakfast.

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good

Smelled musty and like marijuana. Light switches in rooms took awhile to work and turn lights on. Blankets and beds not comfortable at all
