Hotel Kompas

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Um zum See zu kommen, muss man einiges an Treppen bewältigen. Wenn das kein Hinderungsgrund ist, ist die Lage TOP! Personal war sehr freundlich. Großes Badezimmer.

Unser Zimmer hatte nur ein Dachlukenfenster. Geöffnet hat es reingeregnet. Deshalb mussten wir auch die Nacht mit geschlossenem Fenster verbringen. Es gab Stockflecken und roch auch etwas modrig. Im Bad gibt es weder Fenster, noch Lüftung. In der Buchung war das nicht ersichtlich. Das gesamte Hotel strahlte noch den "Charm" aus der Ostblockzeit aus. Große, unpersönliche Räume. Insgesamt vor allem zweckmäßig. Für eine Nacht war es okay. Länger hätten wir, schon wegen des Fensters, nicht bleiben wollen.

The staff were very rude and inconsiderate. Every question we asked appeared to inconvenience them and they often had an attitude.

Prachtig hotel met geweldig uitzicht!

Lage, Personal, Frühstück, Sauberkeit, Qualität der Matratzen. Zimmergrösse, Wifi, TV.

Wenig Liebe zum Detail: Rauchmelder fehlen, Steckdosen nicht befestigt. Insgesamt wurde länger nicht renoviert. Wegen hoher Getränkepreise haben wir die Terrasse dann doch nicht genutzt. Parkplätze sind gut organisiert, aber klein. Betten und Duschkabine sind klein, für größere und „kräftige“ Gäste schwierig… Fahrstuhl fährt nur in Zwischenetage. Gehbehinderte Menschen müssen noch eine Treppe überwinden. Unser Zimmer war zum See hin, hatte aber kein Fenster oder Balkon - nur eine Dachluke mit Blick in den Himmel. Das haben wir bedauert und es war bei der Buchung nicht ersichtlich.

Reception were fantastic - very welcoming and checked us in really early which helped us a lot. Room was lovely, again quite basic but in Bled you're not there for the room. Location-wise it was fantastic - easy walk to the lake and a convenient spot to get back to. Dinner being included was a nice surprise (or something we just didn't notice). The pool is lovely too - it can get crowded very quickly, but we had it to ourselves for the most part and with the view of the lake behind you it's really great.

Nothing we didn't like really. Breakfast option was a touch stagnant, but there were definitely things we'd eat. There's certainly nothing we'd feel comfortable complaining about as it's a really great hotel and when you look at the price compared to the others in the area I think it's a really brilliant deal for what you pay and what you get.
