Comfort Inn & Suites Pittsburg KS

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. When I let them know of the multiple areas of concern in my room that I hoped would be addressed before the next guest, they offered to reimburse me for one night's stay, which was very appreciated.

I checked in at 9:30pm, with an early morning conference the next day. The first room I was given had hair all over the bathroom floor. I tried another room, and it had less hair, but still hair on the bathroom floor...But it was after 10:00 pm at this point, and I was exhausted, so I decided to roll with it. The mattress was sagging, visibly. And I slept very poorly both nights. The next morning I got up to get ready and the outlet by the sink did not work, as well as the light fixture had bulbs burnt out. It was very difficult to get ready for the conference. When I came home from the conference on day 1, there was a dead bug on the floor. The second morning, there was a second dead bug on the floor.

Breakfast met our expectations. There was variety from day to day in the hot selections. Room was clean and staff was present to stock food, wipe tables and offer assistance.

There was an unpleasant odor permeating the property. It varied in strength throughout the stay. We nearly canceled upon arrival but could not find alternative accommodations in town.

The room size was surprising for the cost. We did not expect it to be so large. Everything was neat and clean.

My room faced the parking lot and its window did not have blackout curtains. The meant the parking lot lights showed brightly into the room all night long. Installing a set of blackout drapes would add tremendously to the comfort of guest in the future.

All good, we would stay again,
