Cars racing in front if hotel at all hours of the night. Bathroom was dirty and holes in the walls barely patched

People live there so its like spending the night that home house random people just walking around

Was told they had no rooms. Desk clerk was on her phone and rude. I was tired of driving so i got on Expedia and wow what do you know! They had rooms available. I booked a room and walked back in and told the desk clerk that they had rooms and she was very rude but we got a room. Room was dirty.

Location was very easy to route coming/going any direction . When I walked in, the lobby smelled fresh, it was well lit and the young lady that checked me in was very professional, personable and just lovely! She gave me useful information before I walked away about the hotels doors and layout, breakfast hours in lobby and location of my room. The next morning at checkout time I had to call about 30 min before to see if they would be able to extend my checkout til 1:00 and without a hesitation, the front desk personnel was happy to accommodate. They offer it at a extra fee and that’s perfect. Some places are so rude about it! Seriously not willing to take moneys even to accomodate you. The room was very comfortable and clean with lots of room and exactly what I reserved. The morning breakfast was exactly what you want to see! A nice full breakfast that would feed anyones diet:scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy, cold cereals, oatmeal, bagels, peanut butter, cream cheese and more, also the waffle maker. It was super delicious and the lady that handles the breakfast took care and pride in her position there. And the price was amazing! I’ve paid so much more for a lot less with bad attitudes to boot! It is definitely the staff here that makes a world of difference and they all were so hospitable and took a lot of initiative to be certain that I knew I was a important guest and went above and beyond to offer help with any matter on the premises, and happily! Nice to see!! When in Jackson Mississippi, I will be coming back to make my home away from home !

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Do not stay here. I stayed on September 13th and will never return. The TV in my room didn’t work, and there was no general manager on duty that night. Be very careful where you park. If you park in the IHOP lot by mistake, the hotel will not help you. My belongings were stolen out of my truck, and the response was frustrating. The police seemed uninterested, simply took a report, and offered no follow-up. Calls afterward went unanswered. To make matters worse, there’s a homeless camp behind the hotel, and even the IHOP manager mentioned theft is a constant issue. While the location right off the highway may seem convenient, it’s not worth the risk. Items left in your vehicle—like luggage or crates—can and will be stolen. The property itself also needs significant updates inside. Save yourself the trouble and choose another hotel.

Worst place I have lodged in. Simple.

Oops, we stumbled into where the prostitutes were working. Yikes! A topless girl was having her photos taken at the entrance by her prostitute co-workers. Oh dear, kids look away. Bad neighborhood. A baby daddy came up and gave a woman a stack of money, she put it in her bra and drove away with her infant on her lap while my kids looked on in shock. It didn’t feel safe. But the hotel itself was good and clean. They should police the property better, but their staff was delightful! The carpet was sticky and bathrooms were a bit moldly. If you are sensitive to mold, don’t stay here. But the mattress was heavenly, and the bathroom was adequate.

All around good experience. I would highly recommend Baymont!
