Once again, I had the pleasure of staying at your beautiful hotel, and once again my experience was outstanding. From the very first day, all the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. Ivan, together with the entire concierge team, also housekeeping team reception team were great! As well as the wonderful breakfast team – Miguel, Eyron, and Francisca – made sure at every step that everything was perfect and that I had everything I needed. Obviously, it’s a luxury hotel with everything you would expect. Great breakfast buffet. Very close to the Prado Museum.

For me, it felt a bit too pretentious, even uncomfortable at times. Some staff acted too artificial. It would be nicer if they behaved a bit more naturally. The breakfast buffet was excellent, but the à la carte breakfast was disappointing.

It can get difficult to determine what hotels deserve 5-star reviews...it needs to be based on polite, attentive staff, beautiful rooms, fantastic food and beverage options, amazing amenities (pool, spa, gym), and a perfect location. The Ritz deserves 5-stars for each of these catagories...one of the best hotels in Europe, if not the world
