Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Northwest Conference Center

Literally, this hotel should be a 1.5 star. Felt like I was staying at a Motel 6, not a Hilton. Wall paper peeling of the walls, black mold in the air vents and bathroom, paint fell on me from the ceiling while I was in the shower, the furniture was filthy (I could go on and on). I just got back from Peru (a third world country) and had a cleaner room there. I’m disgusted and leaving this review to save someone else from this place. I travel allot and I’m a rewards member- after this I’m canceling. Hilton is not what it used to be.

I stayed here for a month. Staff was friendly, hotel staff always cleaning grounds, lobby, rooms. My water was hot, bed comfortable. I have no complaints.

Good Parking. Safe Area. Close to highway.

No free breakfast. It had the feel of a party hotel, requiring a damage waiver from each guest. Not a comforting feeling.

Breakfast is extra fee, for the $12.95 is was nothing special but the made to order breakfast was good.

Stayed at the hotel October 3 - 5, 2025. My daughter and I stayed along with her soccer club. On Saturday, October 4, my fairly new car was stolen from the hotel's parking lot. Car was parked about 50' in front of the main entrance; early afternoon; sunny. Police said this is not uncommon. Hotel was not concerned. Rooms: dirty and run down, and have not been refreshed since...90's (?). Hair on bathroom floor, furniture is beaten/damaged/dirty. 2 of the wash clothes were dirty: black marks and one was dingy brown. Edges of doors are dirty, carpet is dirty and worn; glop on closet mirror door. Bedside table bulbs did not work (one had burn marks). Toilet paper: 2 paper holders and each roll was less than 1/4" thick. Had to ask front desk for toilet paper; they did not have any but did provide a new roll later in the evening. While I was in the lobby in the early evening on Oct. 4, the police showed up again. I asked the front desk clerk if they were there because of my stolen vehicle; I was told it was for a different matter. I did contact the hotel's GM with my laundry list of issues. The GM did reply and said they were sorry to hear about my experience, car theft is an issue everywhere, and that they hope I will consider Hilton for future travel. The GM did state that the property will be refreshed soon. I travel frequently for work and I must say that this was, by far, the worst hotel I have stayed at.

It was clean and what I expect from a Hilton. It’s the only hotel I stay at.

It was not in the location I was expecting. I had put in my search for it to be downtown. But it was out in the middle of nowhere
