Oceanside Marina Suites

The location was beautiful!

I paid for an upgrade to an apartment, but that didn't show up on their end. We were given a standard room. When we showed them our email confirmation with the list of what our apartment would have, they tried hard to find something open. We got a studio apartment. We liked it, but a few items weren't working in it. The staff wS wonderful about coming to help fix things.

It was a little isolated on the peninsula but not a total negative.

The room was great with a good view of the water. We enjoyed its spaciousness and having a kitchen was a big plus even though we only stayed one night. The location was charming and calm despite its proximity to the freeway.

There was not enough coffee and creamer provided and we would have appreciated tea as well. The pool area and jacuzzi don't open until 9 AM. We would have liked to sit in the jacuzzi early in the morning before starting our day. As we only stayed one night the checkout time was 11:00 and we had to hurry to enjoy it once it was open.

VALUE The facilities are outdated but the location is excellent and the cost is about 60% of a smaller room in an established hotel.

It needs to be updated but is clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location
