Während unserer Lahn-Fahrradtour haben wir eine Nacht im Schlosshotel Weilburg verbracht. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und einen angenehmen Aufenthalt verbracht. Unserer Fahrräder konnten wir über Nacht im Fahrradkeller abstellen.

"Sehr schön, aber nicht als Wellnessurlaub"

Die Lage und das Zimmer waren top. Unterhalb des Schlosses - das unbedingt einen Besuch wert ist - mit Parkplatz vor der Tür mitten in der historischen Altstadt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Abendessen war auch gut. Ich empfehle vorzubuchen. Wir hatten ohne Buchung am 1. Abend keinen Platz bekommen. Dadurch waren wir in der Umgebung unterwegs und dort gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants, die fußläufig gut zu erreichen sind.

Als Wellnesshotel ist es leider etwas enttäuschend. Die Sauna war mit 4 Personen gut besetzt. Das Schwimmbecken mit 4 Leuten zum Schwimmen recht klein. Es gibt 4 Liegen. Das Becken ist an 3 Seiten geschlossen. Es gibt die Möglichkeit im Partnerhotel den Wellnessbereich zu nutzen. Das ist fußläufig in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Wellnessanwendungen gibt es NUR dort. Da es an diesem Tag geregnet hatte, wollten wir nicht mit Badetasche dorthin laufen. Deshalb können wir leider nichts dazu sagen.
