Beyond Kata

Loved the breakfast selection, loved swimming in the sea with the resort access to the beach. The resort was close to shops and we enjoyed walking there and back. The staff were so helpful and friendly nothing was a problem.

We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago under the previous ownership. Beyond has refreshed the hotel and brightened it up, but much of it is still the same - immediate hotel grounds are well maintained, all things considered.

Facilities are crowded, hotel food is very overpriced especially when the restaurant directly across the road has a much better menu, amazing portions, and a wide food variety for nearly 1/5th the price. There is also a night market 3 minutes walk from the hotel that has an amazing selection with high hygiene standards. When we stayed 10 years ago, we ate at the hotel buffet almost exclusively, this time...we didn't touch it once, it was not worth the asking price and seemed many guests had the same feeling. The buffet outside of the complimentary breakfast was always extremely empty with a maximum of 5 tables being occupied in the whole restaurant at any given time, if any. The beach in front of the hotel (and all hotels in the area) have been heavily occupied by independent vendors (beach chairs, drink stalls) leaving little to no areas to relax or walk and a lot of litter. The views from our junior suite were great, and our room attendant was lovely. Unfortunately the A/C on our entire floor was having issues for the most of our stay. Not ideal when it's humid and hot outside, we had to keep our curtains closed almost 24/7 which negated the whole point of the ocean view, otherwise the room would be a sauna.

Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour dans cet hôtel calme. Nos chambres étaient spacieuses, face à la très belle plage de Kata. Personnel très gentil. Nous y retournerons sans hésitation.

The management at the hotel was exceptional.

It’s on the beach, nice pool and close to restaurants.

The ants in the bathroom, complained twice and finally something was done about it, no apology from anyone. The staff on the front desk weren’t helpful, not happy like other Hotels. You are not able to switch the pool towels unless you leave them in your room, which is weird as you use the towels in the day. The bed was hard and the room was dated. No air conditioning in the atrium when we ate breakfast. The breakfast was mediocre, had to finish it in my air conditioned room.

Only one pool , pool bar not attended as often as should be. Staff at the pool bar very slow and pool food also very slow to arrive . Especially as it was low season and not very busy. Staff check in didn’t explain anything only breakfast time no maps or other information provided. Beds where way to hard. Disappointed as emailed the hotel to let them know we were arriving earlier to check in time and happy to pay extra for room to be available early, they provided cost and on arrival room was not available had to wait till check in time , hotel was not busy and clearly not full, so was a little disappointed this could not be accommodated too.

Great location beautiful hotel and great staff. Breakfast choice was vaat. Best omlette station I have experienced in a lot of travel. Staff super pleasant always smiling that counts for a lot. Room was amazing and our room was always immaculate.

Usual pet hate breakfast being buffet style is never hot enough. Also hotels never have good toasters took 2 or 3 passes ro get colour some days.

Otel denize sıfır konumda. Bu bakımdan kata beach deki diğer otellerin bir adım önüne geçiyor. Oda büyüklüğü gayet iyi. Temizlik harika.

Havuz etrafındaki görevli çok saygısız . Otel tanıtımlarında da yer alan görevliden bahsediyorum.Otelde Checkin işlemleri için dört saat bekledik bu kötüydü. Geceden müşteriler havuz kenarlarına havlu koyarak yer tutuyor ve siz sabah yer bulmakta zorlanıyorsunuz.
