Rodeway Inn San Diego Near SDSU

Staff was very friendly.

The room was full of mold. The smell was unbearable. The microwave, furniture, fridge, floors and mirrors were so dirty. The window curtain was full of holes. The floor was a safety hazard. There was a screw between floors. The sheets had yellow stains. I'm very disappointed Rodeway doesn't even inspect the rooms to make sure they are in good condition to rent it out. I was booked in a poisoned room. I couldn't enjoy my stay. I have a sore throat and stuffy nose cause by all the mold. I didn't realize all of this things until the next morning. I knew the room had something because I started feeling so sick. Mold was everywhere, in the bathroom tiles, the roof, window and if im not mistaken the furniture. After that poisonous experience I want my money back and the deposit. All I wanted was a clean and safe place to rest. I definitely didn't get that. So disappointed.

Location

Litter on the hotel grounds and around my room door. TV not working staff said they would fix and didn't. I had to inquire about it the next day it was fixed. Not tea, coffee or kleenex in the room. Staff not present

It was a good and quiet location. Internet was good.

The beds and pillows were not comfortable. The costumer service at the front desk was not very friendly.

They charged me 40$ for having pizza sauce on there complentantry towels out of my 100$ deposit they have a sign that states you will be charged 250$ for smoking why do they not have that same sign for use if towels that's ridiculous that I was charged 40$ for having pizza sauce on the towels just flat out ridiculous also my windows didn't open they were screwed shut just ridiculous I spent 151.00 plus a 100$ deposit and 40$ was charged out of my deposit for some damn towls I don't recommend this place at all
