Econo Lodge Billings

We drove 9 hours and just wanted a good rest. Perce (I think that is his name) checked us in and was very helpful with a few small details. We got about a half hour of pool time then just down the road for dinner at Cracker Barrel. Room is clean, meal was good and we are tucked in ready for a decent nights rest. Under $100. AC is loud, but appreciated.

The room was dirty and smelled badly. The room was also very noisy due to paper thin walls and no soundproofing. The bed had some sort cover on it for water proofing or something but it was noisy and uncomfortable. The drain in the bathtub/shower was blocked making drainage difficult. The hotel was a little way out of town consequently there was no restaurants/bars nearby. Unpleasant stay to say the least , to top it off it was quite expensive for a low budget hotel.

Paid ahead for a room we couldn't use, because nothing worked, had to stay at a different hotel and wasn't refunded

Poor. No fresh fruit, no eggs, cheap looking unhealthy pastries and cheap white bread only for toast.

The hotel is very rundown and does not feel clean. There was a large piece of trim board ripped off of the door to the bathroom. The freezer part of the fridge had a large brown stain and was covered with frost. The easy chair was stained. My hair dryer would not stay plugged in as the connection was loose. There was an exposed bolt sticking up from the base of the toilet that looked like an accident waiting to happen. The front desk guy did not inform me at registration that the outside door was dead bolted so I had a little frustration entering the room. When I tried to enter from the inside door it took several tries for the key card to work. This place needs a full renovation!
