Aghadoe Heights Hotel & Spa

We had a spontaneous lunch at Aghadoe Heights Hotel & Spa, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. There were three of us, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that make the visit even more special. The food was excellent—fresh, well presented, and full of flavour. A special thank you to Daniela, who was very nice and took great care of us. In fact, all the staff were happy, friendly, and attentive, which really adds value to this beautiful hotel. We visited with our Irish friend, the legendary pianist JP. We often travel with him exploring Ireland, and he always brings us to great places—this was definitely one of them. Highly recommend this hotel, even for a casual lunch. A truly memorable experience!

Last minute idea to stop by here for lunch and it was a great idea.I always say that it's the staff that make a place and this was certainly the experience we had here.I phoned 15minute ahead and got chatting to Miguel and he was very pleasant. Arrived and was served by Daniela who was top class from start to finish, professional, informative and engaging.All the staff we met were very good indeed. We'll be back and thank you.

The view out to the National Park was superb. The room was beautifully spacious, well-appointed and comfortable, though, being out-of-towners we did struggle to work the heating. The casual dining was a little disappointing in terms of the quality of the food, and, on the second evening, the service was very slow. But otherwise, we felt very privileged to have been able to stay here.

Found the basic room small for the price, but having been several times I knew this

The room was exceptionally comfortable, with a bed that felt like pure luxury; I slept better than I have in a long time. The staff was excellent,went far beyond my expectations:warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to make my stay perfect. Everything about this stay was simply superb. I would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional hotel experience.

Everything was perfect

Just returned from a really lovely weekend in the Aghadoe Heights. We requested a room overlooking the lake and the view really was stunning. Perfect to wake up to each morning. The room was gorgeous, the bed incredibly comfortable and we loved the complimentary chocolates and also the luxury bathroom products. We also loved the piano lounge and enjoyed some excellent food whilst very accomplished pianists entertained us. The staff were very professional, welcoming and friendly esp Tino, Ruti, Les and Panno. We will definitely be back.

Spectacular views from the hotel but unfortunately not a 5 star experience. Didn’t get to sample the fine dining as the area set up for this was not conducive for fine dining and we cancelled. Cooked breakfast most of the elements over cooked. Service was patchy one outstanding exception was Vittorio who served us on 2 nights. His energy, friendless and efficiently was very lmpressive.
