Clandeboye Lodge Hotel

Had an overnight break with an evening meal and stayed in the loft. Room excellent and the food and service exceptional. The atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing but relaxing at the same time with just the exact amount of ambient lighting to make it both warm and romantic..

My wife and I were attending the wedding of our grandson Dylan Morris and Sarah Moylan. The wedding venue was a fantastic experience, excellent layout and beautifully decorated. The wedding meal was well presented and excellent menu. The hotel accomodation was on the same level i.e. second to none. The room was very comfortable and the whole hotel was an excellent experience. The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and extremly polite and nothing was too much for them.

This was our second stay at the Clandeboye Lodge and again we were so impressed with everything especially the lovely staff who are incredibly friendly and professional - nothing is ever too much trouble. My husband and I had stayed for one night in the summer (unexpectedly as the hotel we had booked for two nights was so dreadful that we had left after the first night...). We had such a lovely stay that my husband said he wanted to celebrate his big birthday there so we, together with our sons and their partners, flew across to stay for a couple of nights including having the special birthday dinner there. It more than met expectations. The reception staff, especially the wonderful Maggie, were unbelievably helpful with finding us the best deal when booking and then helping me arrange some surprises for my husband’s birthday. A huge thank you to everyone for giving us all such a memorable weekend. Our only regret is that we don’t live nearer.

The clandeboyis not only a beautiful location to stay, it hosted my son and daughter in laws wedding there recently and the food was wonderful and the venue amazing. But what makes the clandeboy stand out is it's amazing wonderful kind staff.

We got married on October 18, 2025. When we first viewed the venue in 2024, the viewing was host by Kirsty who was extremely professional and knowledgable. Which is part of why we wanted to put our trust in Clandeboye. Since booking the venue, every single member of the wedding team was been quick to respond to our many questions and always helpful. Whether it was Lorraine, Ian, Mai, Gia, or someone else. In particular, they were excellent in helping with guest allergies and concerns, immediately reducing our stress levels. Graham (our MC) and the team absolutely smashed it out of the park on the day. Graham made sure to introduce himself the night before the wedding and was extremely professional but approachable on the day itself. He even considered the little touches like keeping us canapés to the side to ensure we ate and checking in with us regularly (without being on top of us all day). When there were issues, he discretely dealt with them on our behalf and nothing felt like too much. Our guests lauded the serving team at dinner and the food, saying it’s one of the best wedding meals they’ve had. The team were prompt, polite and (from what we seen) the service was seamless. The clandeboye truly was our dream wedding venue and we couldn’t recommend them enough.

We booked our wedding back in April 2025 and with a short time till our wedding in October 2025, the entire team couldnt have been better. The Wedding Team Gia, Kirsty, Lorriane and Ian were able to answer every question we had and provide us with support. The managers that looked after us on the wedding day, Emma & Marvin were just amazing, they were always a step away making sure everything was taken care of. The food was amazing, our guests are still talking about it and I was concerned about my own food being vegan however they ensured that all my food was seperate and took time to bring my canapes and evening buffet directly to me. The night staff had their hands full with the late bar but were really accomodating. The reception team especially Maggie were so welcoming and helpful. I couldn't recommend a better wedding venue, the food, the accommodations, the staff and the venue styling made our wedding day the best ever!
