Please note that The Bonham is strictly a nonsmoking property. Please note that The Bonham Hotel has a car park to the rear of the building, which is used on a first come first serve basis. Parking tickets are issued on arrival in the car park and should be paid for at reception. When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Payment will be taken upon arrival for all reservations. Please note that dinner rate plan is a GBP 30 per person allowance. Its not often i give 10/10 ratings but this is one of those times! From the moment we arrived at the hotel we immediately felt at home and welcomed. The room we had was very spacious and offered a fantastic view it was also beautifully set up. The lighting in the room was also beautiful and bright! We loved the decor and the classic feel opulence the hotel offers, everything from the staff to the attention to detail and personal feeling you get was impeccable. The complimentary treats were such a wonderful addition too! We genuinely loved this! The hotel truly felt like home during our stay. The location is excellent its located in a quiet yet affluent area of the city but still within walking distance to the main center, there are also bus stops nearby as well. Its very close to Haymarket station too. Finally considering everything we got out of this hotel, the value for money was incredible! There is no doubt that we would 100% come back to The Bonham on our next visit to Edinburgh. It exceeded our expectations wonderfully!

Honestly there wasn't much to complain about. However a few things could always use some improvement. Firstly we felt the breakfast was lacking a variety of options. It was mostly a la carte with a couple of options along with a very basic buffet. I think having a more expanded buffet with hot items would tremendously improve the breakfast experience at the hotel. The hotel is in an old building so some wear and tear can be visible, not a big deal but certain areas such as the windowsills could use a little attention. Lastly in our room the safety deposit box wasn't functioning, not a big deal but definitely something to look at as it kept resulting in an error when entering the code to lock. These were all minor issues and did not impact our overall impressions of the hotel. Its truly wonderful and we look forward to staying here again! :-)

Breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff were all extremely kind, helpful and attentive, especially at the front desk the concierge gave us some helpful advice for our train which saved our journey home. The room was also so beautiful. Love this hotel and its grand historic home feel, while being very clean and upgraded. We stayed here on our honeymoon and return whenever we can.
