Old Parsonage Hotel

Location and facilities very good

Dinner was very slow arriving and did not come together. Certain dishes were cold and chairs and tables uncomfortable

“ What an appalling experience but the response of the hotel was even worse. A group of 6 of us went to this place in late November 2025 for an evening meal. This was the only meal we had that day apart from coffee and a croissant in the morning. By the next morning 5 out of 6 of us had serious vomiting and diarrhoea from food poisoning the night before at The Old Parsonage. This went on for some days and was extremely unpleasant for all of us. To add insult to injury, the hotel restaurant refused to accept responsibility, made no apology or offer of compensation, put us through a lengthy process of form filling and endless emails. At the end of all this we got nothing from them. Given the high quality and top reputation that The Old Parsonage portrays on its website and social media, one would have expected A) not to be poisoned by them and B) not to be treated with such disdain and disinterest. We do not recommend you eat at this hotel.”

EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATION,CLEAN,POLITE STAFF,IN A VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION

THE STAIRS ARE DIFFICULT

Das Omelett war mega. Das Continental etwas dürftig. Schmale Treppen zum Zimmer muss man können.

Individual, but quirky, nice staff, very comfortable.

All fine.
