My 85-year-old mother stayed at Novotel Toronto North York from November 29, 2025 to February 1, 2026 while waiting for repairs to be completed in her condominium. What could have been a very stressful two months was made significantly easier because of the exceptional care provided by the hotel — especially the manager, Eric. There was some confusion and lack of attentiveness at check-in, which was disappointing given my mother’s age and accessibility needs. However, after speaking with Eric, he addressed the matter immediately and truly turned our experience around. From that point forward, he went above and beyond. He ensured my mother had an accessible room, arranged additional comforts such as a heater and an extra mini fridge, and regularly checked in to make sure she was safe and comfortable. His professionalism, empathy, and accountability made all the difference. The housekeeping team maintained excellent standards throughout her stay, and the restaurant staff were warm, patient, and consistently kind to her. We are incredibly grateful for the compassion shown during what was a difficult time for our family. I would confidently recommend Novotel North York and sincerely thank Eric and his team for their outstanding care.
