The staff was great

Our room had the strong smell of pine sol upon entering it. At 6:00 pm . When I took a bath I noticed black (I am assuming mold)on the hand bar in the shower/tub.

Nothing the guy at desk was nice though.

This is more of a reveiw on BOOKING.COM . We booked through Booking.com, and once we got there, we knew by the way the outside looked that it may not work out. This is only the second time I had to cancel over several years of traveling. Went inside and oder was so strong my eyes started to water. The guy at the front desk was nice and let me look at the room before I stayed. Absolutely disgusting smelled like wet dog and urine and I asked if I could cancel and he was very nice and understood with my allergies that it was a legit reason and said there would be no issue and no fee for canceling. We'll they were understanding but not Booking.com they charged me over half my total for canceling. I get if it was a no show but this place needs alot of help and no way was I gonna chance my health by staying. The customer service guy from Booking.com was rude and said no excuses and I had to pay the $68 fee for not staying but would give me half back. I will be booking a hotel directly from now on to make sure. Lesson learned but still doesn't make a charge that high reasonable . they had one other car in the lot, so we definitely were not holding up any room
